Development of a 50MW solar photovoltaic farm along the Kampala-Entebbe Expressway corridor in Uganda. The project will utilize underutilized land adjacent to the expressway to generate clean energy for Uganda's national grid. The facility will include solar panels, inverters, and grid connection infrastructure. Uganda has excellent solar irradiation levels (5.1 kWh/m²/day) and growing electricity demand driven by industrialization. The government offers attractive incentives including 10-year tax holidays for renewable energy projects, duty exemptions on equipment, and guaranteed power purchase agreements. The project supports Uganda's target to increase renewable energy capacity to 3,500MW by 2030.
